The Role:

As a Data Analyst, you will be a part of the Data team and work closely with other Analysts and Data Engineers to drive innovation and data driven methodologies across the company.
You will work on new, and ongoing analytical projects that drive the product engine and business goals. Your mission will be to extract valuable business insights that feed into product enhancements, and you will act as the link between the business and the engineering teams, to translate vision into results.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create reports and conduct exploratory and descriptive analysis for stakeholders using SQL, Big Query, Python/R and Google Sheets.
  • Narrate findings effectively via Reports/Dashboards using Power BI or Google Data Studio.
  • Identifying and communicating areas of improvements across the business via in depth analysis and research.
  • Automating existing reports using Power BI.
  • Conduct Data wrangling to provide accurate insights.
  • Support other analysts on tasks related to ongoing projects.
  • Use your collaborative and growth mindset to find better solutions.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis as per business needs.About You:
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills with the ability to iterate in dynamic conditions
  • Qualification in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Business or similar.
  • Demonstrate an approach to problem solving driven by data.
  • Having an understanding of the gig economy and marketplaces is a plus.
  • A proficient communicator both verbally and written.
  • Have an eye for detail to discover valuable insights.
  • Highly motivated and communicative, energetic and independent in handling business challenges.
  • Have a growth mindset to excel in this field.
  • Confident in interacting with stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets experience.
  • Experience using visualization tools such as Power BI or Google Data Studio.
  • Minimum 1 year experience using SQL Big Query is a plus.
